Obviously the intense though distant fannish activity of the Denver Worldcon is having its effect on me — today I felt a mysterious urge to prepare this index of Ansible artwork. Yet another web page that I’ll need to keep updating …

Yes, this issue is published a day before its official month begins. I would like to say that I was inspired by The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, whose August issue reached me on 21 June, but the actual reasons for early appearance are infinitely more tedious.
