It’s too hot here to say anything witty about this month’s issue, the suspiciously round-numbered Ansible 350.

Now with freshly added Registered Trade Mark goodness!

A troubled United Kingdom urgently needs comfort and consolation, but what it gets is Ansible 348.

Something I forgot to mention here earlier is the release of Ansible First Series 1979-1987 (the first fifty issues, which many featured articles) as a free ebook available here.

Today is the first of flaming Ansible 347.

The latest addition to the ever-expanding Langford ebook catalogue is a slightly expanded version of Starcombing from 2009. This includes (amid much other nonfiction) my almost famous SFX magazine columns from 2005 to 2009. The 2005 collection The SEX Column and Other Misprints contains the first 128 of these columns (1995-2005) plus other SFX features, and it too has been expanded with extra material as a 2016 ebook.

No fooling.

The title says it all: that massive 2003 critical collection Up Through an Empty House of Stars: Reviews and Essays 1980-2002 has an ebook edition at last, nominally published in April but available now.

Butting through the Channel in the mad March days, here’s Ansible 344. And God help all who sail in her.

If the February issue of Ansible did not exist, it would hardly be worth bothering to invent it.
